The friend of the bride came to us with a request - she needed something different. Away from the flat, familiar designs; elegant, yet free of florals and henna. As geometry heads, we immersed ourselves in research, shared our explorations, and arrived here - the block tile of medieval mosaic, layered in papers, framing the wedding like a piece of history.
Isn’t it fascinating how the precision and intricacy of Medieval Islamic craftsmanship reflect so much more than a skill! They reveal a depth of intention, almost sacred in nature. Perhaps there is something here for us to relearn: to return to that quiet spirituality, and let meaning guide what we create once more ♥

We know you love to receive themed gifts that gently deliver an essence of the meaningful experience. So do we! While designing uniquely handcrafted conceptual décor and gift items, the core motive of team The Duplet's Journey is to illustrate themes and typographies in the form of paper and fabric art that portrays meaning.
